Counselling
YRGCARE offers access to pre and post test HIV counselling that helps people better perceive their risks, assess and prevent risk behaviour, harm reduction, and services for timely screening/testing. Centred on a three-pronged approach, YRGCARE promotes counselling for individuals, communities, and populations - thereby ensuring better understanding, planning, and action.
Testing
YRGCARE is uniquely poised as a quality control laboratory with its service and research operations, and expertise both on clinic / community-based testing approaches for several communicable diseases which have been of pandemic or epidemic potentialities in India; viz HIV and associated infections like TB, Hepatitis B & C, COVID-19, and more.
Care & Treatment
Early diagnosis and treatment reduces disease progression and prevents transmission with viral suppression. YRGCARE has been one of the first to respond to the clinical care needs of people living with HIV, other associated infections like TB, Hepatitis B & C and STIs, preventing mother to child transmission through effective protocols and recently COVID-19, through outpatient care, inpatient care, and a subsidised pharmacy to ensure affordable medications for all; often a key barrier in the patient’s care and treatment needs.
Prevention
A comprehensive package of prevention services that cater to the needs of the most marginalised communities, YRGCARE through its single window approaches, has been successfully running Integrated Care Center, Mitr Clinics, and Adolescent Friendly Health Services, keeping clients and their partners at the centre of those services.
Advocacy
YRGCARE forges liaisons and linkages with local organisations at the grassroots level, government and non government organisations, as well as with community led organisations. Many of its project – field level decisions are led by affected communities, thus helping to engage the community for better action.
Outreach
YRGCARE’s outreach approaches are market-oriented, delivered both offline and online. The primary objective of outreach is to create an enabling environment, engage with the affected communities to create demand as well as set-up services in a unique way driven by the community.

YRGCARE’s training courses are tailored to the needs of the participants and use interactive tools with real life-learning opportunities. YRGCARE offers training for clinicians, obstetricians and gynecologists, laboratory scientists and technologists, health care workers, social workers, counselors in their respective fields relating to HIV prevention and management.
